DIY Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment

Have you ever stopped to consider how much money you are spending on hair conditioning products? If so, you would realize that these products are exceptionally overpriced and that there must be a better alternative than a hollow bank account. This homemade deep hair conditioner is the answer to having soft and smooth hair without breaking the bank. 

Ingredients 

Radha essential oils that improve shine and softness include lavender, peppermint, rosemary, cedarwood, lemongrass, tea tree, and ylang-ylang oil. We highly recommend any of these essential oils for a great deep conditioning hair treatment. 

Lavender has natural soothing, calming scent is perfect for a spa-like experience while staying at home and saving money! 

Peppermint is a fantastic oil for cleansing. Peppermint is known to be anti-inflammatory. If you’re facing an itchy, scratchy scalp, peppermint oil may be able to help you find relief. Its invigorating scent is perfect for a mood-boosting pick-me-up. 

Rosemary has been known to be anti-inflammatory and may show an improved circulation of the scalp. Rosemary is often believed to create a full, thick head of hair.  

Cedarwood is often used by those who suffer from hair loss. 

Lemongrass essential oil may be able to help reduce dandruff. It has a bright scent that makes it great for early mornings. 

Tea tree oil is a great natural cleanser. It is known to be antibacterial and antimicrobial, naturally cleansing your hair with ease. Tea tree is another essential oil that is often used to fight dandruff naturally.  

Ylang-Ylang oil is often used to fight dry hair and scalp. It's a great moisturizer and leaves the hair feeling silky smooth.

Instructions 

  1. Put coconut oil, banana, olive oil, egg, honey, and essential oil in a mixing bowl 
  1. Mix ingredients until there is a thick and creamy consistency 
  1. Once thoroughly mixed, apply to clean, dry hair 
  1. Comb mix through hair until evenly distributed 
  1. Let sit for 15-20 minutes 
  1. Rinse out conditioner and apply shampoo if desired
